Archivematica is an open-source digital preservation system designed for standards-based, long-term access to digital material. It implements strategies that deal with technology obsolescence and incompatibility to ensure that digital objects remain authentic, accessible and useable into the future. Since 2009, I have been teaching at the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands. I teach mainly Psychology courses, with an emphasis on Methodology and Perception. My research focuses on understanding how speech perception is affected in less than optimal conditions, because of hearing impairment, ageing, communicating in a non-native language, or external noise.
